Luang Prabang, Laos

My first country crossing into Laos. I was so exhausted from Siem Reap, I fell asleep at 9:00. I was wide awake at 5:30 and was able to see the morning market as it opened and watched the vendors setting up. I'm not sure what everything offered for sale was but dead animals and blood sure were popular. It was one of the tidiest markets I have ever seen with the wares proportioned out, the vegetables were a lovely display.

I love an open air market and visitng one in another country gives an interesting perspective to the culture.
