I travelled next to Ko Lanta where I took my PADI Open Water Diving course. It has been a dream of mine my whole life. It was pretty gruelling with physical and written tests. I met Tina from Denmark, who was my classmate and we cheered each other on. Now I can dive in deep water anywhere in the world. I watched an octopus hunting that changed color and texture to match his immediate surroundings. I was magical. I LOVED being underwater.
There is a strong muslim population in the south and I could hear amplified chanting from the mosque day and night.
