Ko Tao

I am now in the Gulf of Thailand at a sweet little island called Ko Tao. It is more laid back and reasonably priced here with palm tree covered mountains sliding down into huge bolder strewn 'beaches'. I found a charming bungalow that overlooks the gulf. The view is breathtaking and calming, I'm very peaceful here. The bathroom is shared and the layout it is rustic, I have spent a lot of time watching the sea and have been sleeping very well hearing the waves crash against the rocky beach. The price is $8.50 per night which is double what I was paying in Chiang Mai but worth it. The terrace where I have breakfast has a magnificint view of the island. I went snorkeling today and saw many wonderful corals and fish, for me, paradise.

  3. Hi Karen, I'm just wondering if I can pull on your heartstrings a bit to ask you to come visit us before June when Scot and the boys will be back in the states. I know Scot would really like to see you right now. We could meet you somewhere in Malaysia and drive you back into Singapore, even if it's just for a long weekend. Let us know...
